Drivers for HDD Controllers and Graphics Card
If you like me use an older IDE-/RAID- /Graphics-card then you might find this useful.
After quite some work I found the Windows-drivers for:

How to disable the System Beep in Windows.
Press WIN+R
Type in DevMgmt.msc and press Enter.
Click the View menu then click Show hidden devices.
Expand the Non-Plug and Play Drivers branch out.
Look for Beep and double-click the device to bring up the properties window.
Click on the Driver tab.
Under Current status, click Stop.
Under Startup type drop down switch the driver to Disabled.
Click OK

Windows Errors
If you get the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file."
Check to see whether the file has been copied or downloaded from another source and therefore is locked by Windows.
Under properties click Unblock and OK.

It was a rather urgent Update-problem, so I kept looking around very thoroughly on the Internet and found a solution in were I renamed the .DLL-file below to WUpS.old:

And when I restarted the Updates-Service again, the WUpS.DLL-file was recreated and everything worked fine again.
So the Update-error is fixed and it is very okay from my side to close the case.

Error 5002 in iTunes Store
I had this error and tried a few things that didn't make any difference but when I switched to 1-Click instead of Cart it started to work okay again. I had to restart iTunes between the changes.
It is possible that the items currently in your cart will be deleted during this action but maybe that is unavoidable.
Make a couple of screendumps (ALT + Prt Scr (Print Screen)) on your current Cart before making the changes.
Another way is to buy the Applications or Music directly from your iPhone.
I got this error repediately when trying to write reviews on some specific Apps on Application Store, but when I used my iPhone 3G ver 2.2.1 it worked perfect...with the same account (mine) and the same App.

Internet Explorer
If the Internet Explorer icon is missing on your Desktop.
The show Internet Explorer option disappeared from the desktop customization menu after Security Update MS07-061.
You can find the solution on Microsoft's website here and the Notepad contents for the Registry fix file here -> -> -> (Internet_Explorer_Registry_Desktop_Fix)
Outlook
Microsoft persists on having a strange column choice under Sent Items in Outlook 2000 --> Outlook 2007. If you look there you see that the standard view is sorted on "From" in the first columns. I am pretty sure that most people know who sent the emails from there own mailbox.
Do like this to change the view to show "To" instead:
Start Outlook and go to the Sent Items view. Right Click the To-field and choose Customize Current View. Click the button Fields and scroll down to To in the Available Field column. Double Click To and to the right in the Show These Fields in This Order, make sure that To replaces From and click OK and OK.

You receive a "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" error message when you try to start a Web site in the Internet Information Services MMC snap-in
Additionally, the following two events may be logged in the System event log on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer that is running IIS:
Event Source: W3SVC
Event ID: 1004
Description: Cannot register the URL prefix 'http://*:80/' for site '1'. The
site has been deactivated. The data field contains the error number.
Event Source: HTTP
Event ID: 15005
Description: Unable to bind to the underlying transport for IPAddress:80.
The IP Listen-Only list may contain a reference to an interface which may not
exist on this machine. The data field contains the error number.
Verify whether it is port 80 or 443 that causes the problem by changing them to for example 81 and 444 and see if the Default Web Site starts okay.
In our case it was the “InetInfo.exe” process holding the 443-port.
In the Services Console, close the IISAdmin-service.
Answer Yes.
Then start the World Wide Web Publishing Service first of all. Leave the other ones for now.
Try to start the Default Web Site again…it should work fine now. It might be started (Automatic) already.
Then start the other IIS- and Exchange-related services.
